I trained and worked in cybersecurity GRC and infrastructure roles within APRA-regulated Australian banking environments — where security is enforced by law, audited constantly, and failure is not an option. Returning focus to East Africa, I found a significant gap: world-class security frameworks exist, but most Tanzanian SMEs have no practical path to implementing them. Hawrat Cyber is that path.
